This pre-owned Pelton & Crane Chairman back core provides the internal structural foundation for the chair’s backrest upholstery. It is an excellent replacement for a damaged or missing core and can be padded and upholstered to match an existing chair or support a complete upholstery upgrade.

The contoured laminated wood construction includes the attached mounting brackets, pivot hardware, metal inserts, and wiring leads shown in the photos.

This used core shows signs of previous installation and upholstery removal, including surface discoloration, adhesive residue, handwritten identification, small chips, marks, and wear around some mounting areas. The attached wiring has cut or exposed ends and may require repair or reconnection during installation.
